INFORMACIÓN ACTUALIZADA CENTROS COVID 19

If you are reading this, it means you have decided to visit our facilities during your holiday in Lanzarote. We look forward to seeing you at our Tourist Centre network, and hope you have an unforgettable holiday on the island. 

Please find below details of the measures we have adopted at CACT Lanzarote in order to guarantee both your safety and that of those accompanying you. We have noted certain recommendations which should be taken into account and applied during your stay, for your own safety and that of others. 

We rely on your collaboration to ensure that both our facilities and Lanzarote remain safe. This is essential and above all, we ask you to stay in your lodgings if you have been in contact with a person who has tested positive or who presents any of the following symptoms: general feeling of being unwell, temperature, dry cough or breathing difficulties.

SPECIFIC AND TEMPORARY PREVENTION MEASURES TO ADDRESS THE HEALTH CRISIS CAUSED BY COVID-19 IN THE CANARY ISLANDS

1.Restaurant Outdoor terrace consumption:

  • 50% capacity
  • Terraces: 75% capacity and maximum 6 people per table.
  • Restaurants and Cafes (Indoor): 50% capacity and maximum 4 people per table.
  • Consumption of tobacco and other inhalation devices: Its consumption is prohibited in all premises and establishments open to the public, even on outdoor terraces.
  • Massive events: they cannot be held in territories that are at these alert levels II, III and IV.
  • Opening and closing restaurants Phase II:

– Mirador del Río cafeteria: opened

– Castillo de San José Restaurant: opened from Saturday, March 13, closing time at 10:30 p.m.

– Casa Museo del Campesino Restaurant: interior and terrace opened

– El Diablo restaurant opened

– Café Jardín de Cactus open interior and terrace

– Jameos del Agua cafeteria opened

Jameos Night Experience. Restaurant open from Friday, March 19, closing the establishment at 10:30 p.m.

2. Tourist guided visit 

  • Maximum 30 people in groups of maximum 6 people, maintaining the distance of 1.5 m between groups.
  • Tourist bus capacity visits Montañas del Fuego: capacity is limited to 50%

3. Museum and exhibition hall

  • Capacity 50%
  •  Maximum 6 people per groups.
  • The interpersonal safety distance of 1.5 meters will be maintained on public roads and in all public spaces.

SAFETY PROTOCOL

During your visit to our facilities we would remind you that, for the wellbeing and safety of all, you should rigorously follow both the established protocol and the general guidelines mentioned above.  

  • At this moment in time, tickets for our Centers and discount vouchers cannot be acquired online via our website. These will be sold at the ticket offices in the centers, and we recommend payment be made by credit card or mobile app. (Except for the Montañas del Fuego, where cash only is accepted, due to the fact that there is no coverage or signal around the Centre access point).
  • At access points and points where contact with the general public exists (ticket office, information center …) we have provided hydroalcohol dispensers to be used by visitors. 
  • A limited number only may have access to each of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers in the Lanzarote Municipal Area. 
  • Remember that face masks are compulsory and are to be worn during the whole duration of the visit to our Centers.
  • Tours may now only be taken, within the possibilities available at each Centre, in one direction only.
  • Actual brochures are not available at any of our areas. As an alternative, visitors can download the CACT Lanzarote App and install it on their own mobile devices in order to obtain all the information about each of our Centers during their visit.

PROTOCOL FOR SAFETY IN RESTAURANTS 04/12/20-10/01/21

We hope you enjoy the range of food available at our cafes and restaurants. Below is a list of the safety and control measures applicable in each of them:

  • Complete closing of the establishments before 24:00.
  • Maximum number of diners at a table or group of tables is to be 6 , both inside and outside of the establishment in question. 
  • Separation of at least 2 meters between between chairs at adjacent tables.
  • Bar consumption can be done in groups of two people with at least 2 meters distance between groups.
  • Obligatory use of face masks on terraces and inside establishments, except when eating food or beverage
  • Smoking is not allowed on terraces or other outdoor spaces dependent on the establishment.
  • Activities that promote not maintaining interpersonal safety distances or not using a mask such as dances, karaoke, etc. are not allowed.
  • Digital menus for our cafes and restaurants are available at the Centers.

-Restaurante el Diablo: Advanced bookings cannot be made. Tables will be allocated directly at the restaurant as available on arrival (first come, first served).

  • On arrival at any of our restaurants, we would ask you to wait at the entrance until the hostess comes out to accompany you to the table which has been assigned to you or your group.
  • We recommend digital payment.

PROTOCOL FOR SAFETY IN RESTAURANTS

  • Maximum number of diners at a table or group of tables is to be 10, both inside and outside of the establishment in question. 
  • Separation of 1. 5 meters between the tables, groups of tables and the bar.
  • Obligatory use of face masks on terraces and inside establishments, except when eating food or beverages. 
  • In accordance with the restrictions imposed by the Canary Island Government on  October 2020 with regards the banning of smoking in public areas or areas of public use where the physical distance of 2 meters cannot be maintained, smoking will only be permitted in the designated areas in each Centre, due to the risk of infection from COVID-19 caused by smoke.

MEASURES ADOPTED AT THE CENTRES

At CACT Lanzarote we take care of you, and for this reason our staff:

  • Have reinforced the cleaning and disinfection of our installations on a daily basis. 
  • Will air and disinfect the vehicles used on the Montañas del Fuego tour after each journey. 
  • Have updated information regarding the protection measures introduced.
  • Undergo daily temperature checks.
  • Use PPI, consisting of FFP2 face masks and/or hygienic masks and nitrile gloves.
  • Frequently wash their hands with hydroalcoholic solutions.
  • However, it is the shared responsibility of ALL of us, both staff and visitors, to care for the wellbeing and safety of everyone.
