For more than 50 years, the Centres for Art, Culture and Tourism in Lanzarote have helped tourists feel the magic when visiting the spaces created by César Manrique, to enhance the wonderful landscape of Lanzarote.
Technological developments have also come to CACT and with the Cognitive Challenge Tourism, based on software developed with IBM Watson, we aim to create the best app experience for our visitors.
With this tool, we will be able to know what our tourist is like and what they want in real time, so we can predict and recommend the best travel routine.
The company that won the competition to create of the Cognitive Tourism APP was “Skios” which, along with 4 other finalists, was challenged to demonstrate the possibilities of the tool with just three days of learning, development and staging, in Jameos del Agua.
SKIOS stood out according to the judges for the following reasons:
Skios had the proposal that best fits the set of aspects assessed by the judges. They have also demonstrated the best solution, most comprehensive scope and best guarantees to give visitors to the Centres for Arts, Culture and Tourism of the Cabildo of Lanzarote an unforgettable experience.
