Have you ever dined in a volcanic tube? Noches de Jameos is a new way to help you experience the beauty of Jameos del Agua, Lanzarote. A unique soiree combining food and music with the magic felt in this natural space where lights and shadows intertwine with the reflection on the indoor lake and the volcanic rock.
On 23rd August, there will be an eclectic session with House, Disco, Soul and Afro Cuban sounds. At the DJ booth, Marshall Jefferson, known as one of the fathers of Chicago House and creator of one of the main songs part of this musical style, "Move your body".
The talented Natasha Diggs will rock the dance floor with tunes that dig into hip hop, soul, funk and reggae. And from Los Angeles, producer and DJ José Márquez with Caribbean beats and Afro Latin music.
The local touch will be provided by ThePiriexPirience with a choice of fresh and transversal sounds.
On 20th September, we’ll bring the 2019 Jameos Festival sessions to an end with the visit of several generations of artists connected to the music scene. Our godfather, John Morales, who, yet again, will put an end to the festival alongside one of the young talents in the current DJ scene Melvo Baptiste (Glitterbox), a rare groove, soul, classic house and soulful enthusiast.
In addition, Ian Friday (Libation) DJ, producer and legendary promoter of the scene in NYC, as well as the magnificent voice of Gizelle Smith and, of course, ONEche DJS representing local talent.
Based on the operas “Fausto”, by Charles Gounod, and “Mefistófeles”, by Arrigo Boito, this performance brings us a journey through a universal myth. A dramaturgy that combines pieces of both operas to offer the audience a unique approach of these two characters together.
A flamenco show inspired by the poetry of the lighthouse, with different flamenco tunes and cover versions of renowned songs.
Onírica Mecánica creates poetic-mechanic-imaginary worlds for anyone who loves fantasy.
